Product Design

We have over eight years of experience in machine and mechanism design. We are fluent in all parts of mechanical machine design, including structures, mechanisms, linear and rotary axes, and pneumatics.

Modeling & Drafting

Greisen Aerospace uses Solidworks for design and drafting. We have full simulation capabilities, allowing us to do kinematic simulations and other analyses. Modeling mechanisms in Solidworks reduces the need for physical prototypes.

Stress & Finite Element Analysis

Finite element analysis (FEA) is a powerful method of simulating the behavior of a part or assembly using computers. Using a combination of FEA and analytical stress analysis methods, we can analyze the stress distribution in a part or assembly, find the natural frequency, or a variety of other analyses. FEA allows us to find the stresses in complex parts; we aren't limited to the simple geometries that you can solve by hand.

We have over eight years of experience with finite element modeling, using a number of industry-leading software packages. We currently use Solidworks Simulation, a powerful FEA package. Using an integrated software package, we can optimize the design to minimize stress, deflection, or a number of other characteristics.

Photorendering

Photo-realistic rendering is the process of generating high-quality, lifelike images directly from a computer model. This process can reduce the need for physical prototypes, leading to significant cost savings. We use PhotoView 360 software to generate these images for our clients.

Reverse Engineering

We work with out customers to create computer models of existing parts. We work from physical models, 3D scan data, or high-quality pictures.
